Mr. Leonard Nessen has served the USFDA for more than 30 years. He was the USFDA Chief of Imports Branch for Center of Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN).
He was based in the USFDA Washington DC Headquarter and was in charge of supervising a team of professionals who were responsible for the enforcement and monitoring of USFDA regulated food and drugs manufacturers around the world to ensure compliance with the USFDA regulations.
Mr. Nessen has also represented USFDA as Speaker in many international conferences where he provided information and advice to foreign manufacturers, government officials and consumer groups regarding USFDA’s law, regulations and policies.
In addition, he has also served in the USFDA's Centre for Medical Devices and Radiological Healthwhere his responsibilities include regulatory review and and interpretation of medical device good manufacturing practices to USFDA investigators and field offices and to the regulated industry.

Dr. Abdul Karim Alias is a professor in the School of Industrial Technology, Univesiti Sains Malaysia. Being an excellent scientific professional and educator, Dr. Abdul Karim has been awarded with numerous prestigious awards which include the USM Excellent Educator Award and Hall of Fame Award. In the year 2008, Dr. Abdul Karim has also been awarded the Anugerah Akademik Negara (National Academic Award) which is one of the most pretigious awards for the educators in Malaysia.
Dr. Abdul Karim has published more than 70 international journals, books and encyclopedia chapters. He is also an editorial member of the Journal of Physical Science, International Journal of Food Research and Food Hydrocolloids.

Ms. Divya L. Selvakumar is a consultant and college professor in nutrition in a few colleges in the USA. She is a specialist in public health and clinical nutrition, and is teaching nutrition with an emphasis on health and wellness issues related to major nutrients and chronic diseases.
Ms. Selvakumar was also a Nutrition Consultant in World Vision Inc., an international relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities through emergency relief, education, health care, economic development and promotion of justice.
In addition, Ms. Selvakumar has also worked on nutrition projects based in the USA, India and East Africa when she was a member of the Global Health Services Corps.

Mr. Shang Tan is the CEO and Founder of LivYoung Lifestyle Company. He was trained as an accountant and is a member of the Certified Practicing Accountants, Australia.
In the early days of his career, Mr. Tan practiced in the Audit and Assurance Division in one of the Big Four accounting firms in the world. He has gained insights of the management and corporate strategies of various multinational and public listed Companies since the early stages of his career.
Mr. Shang Tan was also the Sales and Marketing Director of Jeenhuat Foodstuffs Industries Sdn. Bhd., an established Malaysian based food manufacturing and exporting Company which has penetrated into the international markets for more than 40 years.
Mr. Shang Tan has broad marketing experience in the international markets including Europe, Middle East and USA. He has also co-ordinated and participated in various international trade exhibitions in France, Germany, Japan, U.A.E., Russia, Australia and USA.
